With Soltahr—A mentor and guide on your sacred spiritual journey
A gracious 70 year old Elder, she offers the light of over five decades walking the sacred spiral of this lifetime. Her guidance is a tapestry woven from the voices of wise teachers, gifted healers, ancestral spirits, and the living wisdom of many spiritual lineages — all illuminated by ancient intergalactic echoes that continue to shape her becoming.
She comes with and offers gentleness and grace, carrying ever-unfolding wisdom, deep compassion, and the quiet strength of unconditional love. With over 25 years in the art of Transpersonal Counseling Psychology, she stands as both witness and guide, helping you open gateways into the unseen, multidimensional realms of your life.
From the personal to the ancestral, the emotional to the spiritual, the known to the mysterious — healing arises. As you journey through the layered landscapes of your being, you are invited to remember, to reclaim, and to return to the truth of who you are.
Healing is not only for the self—it is an offering, a prayer, a devotion to ancestors, to family, and to community. I come bearing oceans of wisdom, unafraid of your depths, your shadows, your grief, your brilliance. Wherever you wish to journey, I am here—rooted, witnessing, and walking beside you.—Soltahr

Spiritually
For nearly four decades, I have walked as a Priestess of the Divine Feminine and Mother Earth—an Earth-based practitioner devoted to the mysteries of change, transformation, and renewal. Through solar and lunar ceremonies, rites of passage, mothering, birthing, dying, and countless rituals both public and private, I have served as midwife to the sacred transitions of life.
My path has been woven through many traditions. As a Mindfulness Instructor at Naropa University, I came to know mindfulness and Tonglen as lifelong companions—gentle practices that ground the heart and open us to the flow of giving and receiving when the world feels unsteady.
I have studied Shamanic healing with the late Moonhawk of Hopi lineage, his partner Lynn Johnson—through whom I became a Reiki Master in 1994—and with Shamanic practitioner Renna Shesso, Jungian analyst Terry Keepers and Puma Fredy Quispe Singona. These teachings allow me to guide others through the subtle gateways where spirit and healing meet.
Two years of deep healing on the ancestral lands of the Tiwa people in Albuquerque transformed me profoundly. Living in solitude, held by desert winds and Indigenous wisdom, I entered the sacred work of grieving, remembering, and reclaiming who I am—as Elder, Healer, Teacher, Mentor, and Guide. My continuing journey includes decolonizing my mind, body, and spirit, and deepening into the ancestral wisdom of my African lineage.
Recently returned to my home on the unceded lands of the Cheyenne and Arapahoe, also known as Longmont, Colorado, I live in the blessing of family--my beloved twin daughters, their partners, and my radiant young grandchild, Luna, a bright rainbow spirit.
My ongoing study in Somatic Abolitionism, inspired by Resmaa Menakem’s My Grandmother’s Hands, continues to reshape my being. This work—healing from the wounds of racism, white body supremacy, and colonization—is not separate from my spiritual path; it is at its core.
I have crossed rivers of transformation and sailed oceans of awareness to arrive here—as Elder, Priestess, Healer, Abolitionist, and Truth-Teller. These are not titles, but lenses through which I witness the divine unfolding of liberation.
I have no fear of your depths or stories. Together, we can meet what longs to be healed—transforming pain into power, grief into grace, and remembering the sacred wholeness that is your birthright.
A few of your Questions answered
How are your spiritual guidance sessions conducted?
Currently all sessions are conducted online in a secure Zoom environment. I like to begin with a grounding exercise or short moments of breathing and silence to arrive and connect within. Where the sessions go from there depends on you and what you are working with. As stated, I bring all of my years of experience to our time together to help you tap into what is going on mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually and how they are interconnected as a way of leading to your healing and deeper understanding.
Do I need any prior experience with meditation or religious study?
No, we start where you are and figure out together what you need from there. There is no one size fits all, everyone is different and where you are on your personal path is what’s most important
What makes your approach different from other spiritual coaches?
There are no contracts or measurements of progress, you move at your own unique pace, as any path would have one do. I am not a Guru, I don’t have all the answers—if I don’t know something, I’ll say “I don’t know” and will work with you to find answers. This work is for you, not for my ego. I am here to help you find your own inner truths, not to tell you how to think or feel.
