Autumn Equinox 2026

I was thinking about the Yin Yang Symbol, itself, a representation of balance. As I thought more deeply, I was brought to consider how often it is that we as humans have always created symbols that provide unconscious made conscious understanding of the world around us. I thought of the two hemispheres of our dear Mother Earth, and how at the Equinox, one is going into Spring, the other into Fall. Our great Star, the Sun, creates this dance, as we see the dot differently in each part of the symbol, one part light with the remembrance of coming out of the dark and the other dark, with the remembrance of light to come. Just thoughts for the coming time of balance.

Imagine that as we evolve and grow, we are climbing a ladder, we cannot go higher if we are weighed down by bags of the past. Yet when we seek our own personal balance—dropping the baggage of our past, we can more easily grab hold of the next rung that is right there in front of us creating steadiness and Balance.
